  1. You are the man Cody :wrench: Thank you very much - Rich
  2. I have seen this amazing winch bumper on a Jeep Comanche the last two times I have gone to Jeeptoberfest (Florida). Unfortunately, I have never been able to talk to the owner about it. Does anyone on here know who makes the bumper, or knows the owner of the MJ? This is their front bumper -> Thanks for your help - Rich
  3. Entertaining write-up  . The XJ looked perfect until the last few shots. Good luck – Rich

    Love mine - bump!
  5. :D the rest of the guys have projects they would like to pull inside, so there is a lot of pressure to move it along! It does help having the shop = more jeeps :clapping: Thanks for watching
  6. Wow, wow, wow - fantastic work - wow. Thanks for sharing
  7. Mine were made in India and I did not get any instructions  . Thanks for the information
  8. Sorry to hear that - RIP Lenny.
  9. I have had no issues with the one, so I am not sure how I feel about them right now. I am leaning towards your opinion of them . . .
  10. Checking out all the dually axles at the LKQ in advance, so I will be ready to get in and out during the next 50% off sale. Saw a nice D70HD dually, but would prefer a Dana 60 for greater aftermarket support. I found this interesting dually set up on a ford I believe - might have considered it if I was not set on custom 1 ton axle. These turned the regular axle wheel into a dual wheel axle. Not sure how safe they are :dunno: it is a lot of pressure on what is essentially extended lug nuts -> Picture of the adapters - I will be getting one of these-> I almost wish I could do something like this -> I need to be practical, so I am looking seriously at these in 16" -> TBC
  11. Sorry CC - I never saw this post. Thank you  . One of the seals took a dump. It was spinning around making a racket. I am waiting for the warrantied replacement to come in. I put a Comanche Club sticker on the jeep today - yeah, about time. I lost the original and had to order a few new ones from Pete. Looks good ->
  12. Added the single most important mod to the III ->
  13. Are they 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern? I will look into them  .
  14. I have been very busy working on the other 86, but I made some time today to order the 5 lug to 8 lug adapters for the front axle. I decided that I will be using a real dually rear end for out in back (Dana60??). I will need to find an axle and then see if any modifications will need to be made to make it fit. I should get the adapters at the end of Jan. I am looking into getting the MOTO METAL Series 953 rims - that could change ;) TBC - Rich
  15. Purrdy :clapping: You should have named it Taintstick . . .
  16. Glad to see Beaterjeep on the cover - very nice. Pm sent
  17. Congratulations
  18. How do I get the YouTube video into my post :fs1: :headpop: :wall: !??! The Greatest American Hero song - e9Q3orQhEcA
  19. I got to drive this 1986 CJ7 about 4 months ago ->
  20. Exactly what I was thinking - I think I like it a lot.
  21. Welcome to the CC  . What color is the interior?
  22. :clapping:  I love that truck - it's blue and long like I like them. That did not come out well . . .
  23. It is, but it needs work. Thanks for the offer  I am sure we are right around the corner from you :wrench: .
  24. Yeah - it looks just like heat shrink tubing. I know the jeep ran - I guess it would not restrict anything being pushed through that area. I will be looking at other 96 XJ's while I am at the junk yard in the next few weeks - I will let you all know.
  25. I pulled the 4.0 of my parts XJ and I noticed this piece connecting two of the hard fuel line parts together -> Is this normal or is this some type of repair job? Thanks, Rich
