  1. Their search is broken. Go to Google, type in a search like this. site:jeepstrokers.com search terms The general answer is yes you can just drop a stroker in place with little changes besides fuel injectors.
  2. Only need the arms! The only difference between the old and new wiper assembly is the electrical plug on the motor.
  3. NICE! Glad he is willing to work with community fans and be so accommodating. Lots of the craftsmanship shows were they put in the most effort for show looks and did simple behind the scenes magic for what people would not see. Such as the pieces of wood taped into place to prevent the bed cover from sagging.

    Copy CL ads

Hahaha, that copy protection is just a silly piece of Javascript! Javascript in Firefox can not disable the right click menu so you can always copy the image URL. There is always viewing the page source and searching for the image as well. If people only upload the pictures to ebay and the photos are only viewable through the ebay picture viewer then I have not found a way to find the image address. Inspect Element in Firefox.

  6. The shafts have to be slid out slightly.(Requires removing the brake assembly at least partially.) Fish out and complete remove any debris of the old gears. Slip the new gears into place and push the shafts back into the gears. Helps to have someone hold the gears in place while putting the shafts back into place. This is an abridged version of it, but the process is simple.
  7. Read up a few posts, the stroker is back on due to me messing with basic rules of what tools not to use on an engine block.(I need to get the deck redone now.) So stroker... AND supercharger. I am going to just screw the budget and blow it out of proportion. It will be at least a year before this project is in a fully finished state. It will be drivable before then, but some items such as the supercharger will come after the initial engine break in period. http://boostecus.com/index.php?option=c ... &Itemid=28 My parts list the is ever changing and being added onto. Still need to add interior items and electronics. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... nFBSDMxd0E
  8. That's what I figured. Got a spare d44? If it is broken spider gears you can do that yourself without even removal the differential housing. If the ring and pinion gears are damaged it will require the entire gear setup to be redone. My local off road shop charges $250 in labor to regear one axle.
  9. 114,000 miles, 4WD, AX15?!, and all for $1,000?! Amazing deal.
  10. I looked up the sizes and bought all of them at Lowes. All of the valve cover bolts use the same depth and size into the head. I used threaded rod cut up into sections to recreate the nut studs. Then I promptly forgot all the sizes. :P
  11. Sadly, I will get a nasty letter from my HOA for not mowing my long grass that is growing fast due to so much rain, but I can not mow it because it is raining. I really need to move.
  12. So are you a 15 year old or a 20 year old in Gadsden? :P http://jeepspace.jeepforum.com/Knucklehead97 A Comanche or a Cherokee are both really nice for a young student or young adult. Moving to a dorm, to a new apartment, and eventually to a house. Either will move your possessions, but the Comanche will move large furniture that will not fit in the Cherokee.
  13. I took video from the massive hurricanes from April 2011 where I was fording around two feet of water driving out of our development. Our house did not flood only since it was build on higher ground.
  14. One I bought on eBay and I still to find a decent passenger door panel. All from a 1999+ with the black(agate) color.
  15. The paint on the dipstick is fully cured. Pulled the engine and played around with my LJ's spare tire. Sanded Dipstick Painted Dipstick - It's the little details that help. Just a thought of what I might do for tires. Big hunk of useless metal. The Pukegoat
  16. I have not found any full exhaust systems, but you can get an exhaust manifold with the cross over pipe to catalytic converter. Then the rest back is straight except for a hump over the the rear axle.

    good one for LOST

Clear the wall away. Put a vehicle with a winch at the rear to support and one at the front to pull. Gently pull it forward and the rear winch will gently lower it down. Jeep saved!
  18. Camshaft came in on Thursday. Heading out to the garage to clean up and start pulling the engine from the Comanche.
  19. Yes! If I was close to Oregon I would definitely show up. :D
  20. Here is the reference for the newer Jeep wiring.
  21. The 56001077 black chime module I am holding does technically contain the lights on alarm. However, the older XJ/MJ models are wired differently and require two different modules. 1995 and up(Might be earlier too) are wired for all the functions using six wires with the black chime module. The easy way to tell which type your XJ/MJ is by looking at the connector. Newer connectors will be missing the #5 and #8 terminals. The blue chime module functionality on the earlier models can be replicated by jumping the lights on terminal to terminal 6. Terminal 6 handles both lights on and key in functionality on the newer modules. If I had access to the older wiring diagrams or factory service manuals I could give the exact details.

    My MJ's Worth?

$10,000 would not be unreasonable for a great restoration and update like that. If I had the cash and wanted another MJ around I would be negotiating with you in that range. $7,000 is the bare minimum I would get desperate to take as a seller if I was in a bind.
  23. Black does key in ignition and headlights as well. The newer ones are all the same color.
  24. It is a little black box that plugs into the fuse box under the dash. PM me where I should mail it to.
  25. I was being a really dumb idiot this past week and managed to gouge the block deck. So the stroker for the MJ is back on. MOPAR P4529229AC camshaft and Keith Black IC944-060 pistons ordered. No pictures to report! I did pick up a few interior pieces, working gauge cluster, and a master window switch in good condition. X 2 Sent you an email. Can you PM me on the forum for my email? The emails from the forum return to a dead address that is not your own.
