Lol no, but I am thinking that I might now, I would need like 3 sets plus alot of labor to make them work on the MJ.

Plus another set of rear flares.

Are those flares wider than the 97+ flares?

Look like they might be by just a touch in the photos.

No, not really any wider. a little "thicker" (outer face is larger), but thats all.

Bought a parts jeep today, 2001, 48k, and abused:

I just want it for the dash/interior stuff to convert the interior of the MJ, I am hoping the paint will come off, if not I will just replace the visible panels. Real shame someone spray painted the interior, it would have been otherwise nice parts.

So it will have a number of parts for me to use, plus a 48k mile engine/trans to sell off, plus whatever misc parts.

Here in Ohio I have seen cars with 4x4s bolted on for a bumper. I guess in your neck of the woods they don't mess around, though. You'd collapse the frame before putting a wrinkle in that bumper.

That bumper would fold up under the axle before it'd do any good..

I would be interested in your old 97+ front end when you get the 2500 stuff swapped on. Let me know

No 97+ front here, the MJ still has its original.

If you really want cheap 97+ parts check out this place, they may have a location near you:

Bought this NV3550 for my MJ today for $550:

As you can see the bellhousing is broken so I got him down by $50, its the wrong bellhousing for me anyways, pictured next to it is the correct bellhousing for the CRD engine.

Looks like you've made some good progress and got some good deals. jamminz.gif

It's good to see someone else uses those little moving dollies. I've good about 4 or 5 of them now holding a couple of axles, tranny, 2.5 motor and tranny, and the 242 for the MJ. :D Best $10 little helper you can have.

No, just stock clutch for now.

No reason to replace it if it aint broken.

Plus, I would have to find a new clutch overseas.
