08' front bumper

I have been seeing the new Wranglers driving around and I saw one with the Fog light option. So it crosses my mind "that bumper would look great on an MJ". So my question is for those of you that have brand new shiny Jeep Wranglers. Do you think one of thos bumpers would fit without too much work? And could I possibly get some pics of how the bumper mounts. I would go to a Jeep dealer but the nearest one is 30 minuets away. I don't want to drive that far just to look at a bumper on a vehicle that I cannot buy. :cheers:

I know there are pictures on the Jeepforum site under JK. Search for bumbers. I've seen pictures of Jeeps without bumper on. I have a 2008 JK but haven't looked under the front bumper. There are a lot of take offs for sale on ebay.

Acctually, I thought the same thing too. Wouldn't look too bad on a 97+ front end setup

After seeing a couple on ebay I gave it some thought. I finally decided that because of the flat front of the MJ, the curve of the JK bumper would not flow well. Would still like to be able to hold one up to it and see for sure.

yes it does look kind of cool( becauase the lights are IN the bumper) but if i put that on my manche, I would get made fun of.....thats just my luck. i think it should be left to that jeep, not on a manche. Just my opinion :bowdown:

I was looking at the one with the brushed metal looking center. Maybe with the stimulus check I can pick one up. The worst I would have to do is re-sell it. :dunno:
