clarkerussell
So what is the downside to just locking the axle all the time? Reduced mileage?
Pete M
There is no noticeable difference in anything. That's the big reason Jeep dumped the design completely.

Geonovast
like this? http://www.jeepforum...rite-up-595515/ No, he's referring to a permanent, FREE lock. No stupid expensive cables that allow you to do something that's pointless. Check my sig.
Dadinator
Zack, The permanent free fix is what I am referring to. Like in Geonovast's sig. Click on the Lock your CAD in his sig.
Stacks
No, he's referring to a permanent, FREE lock. No stupid expensive cables that allow you to do something that's pointless. Check my sig. There's absolutely nothing pointless about a manual cable disconnect!! 2lo is something I have rigged one way or another on every 4wd rig I have ever owned! Try manuevering at slow speed on a tight relatively flat woods road in 4lo. Or just plodding along scouting firewood or road hunting when you don't need 4wd. K... that's my rant. I love 2lo!!!!
