Finally got my new to me MJ Buckets installed. The Bucket Brackets/Sliders on these seats were in better shape than the other set I had installed and the seats themselves, while dirty when I bought them, were better structurally (frame and foam) than the 2Dr XJ Seats I had. So I cleaned up the covers, sanded and painted a couple small rust spots on the frames and brackets, and here they are. the plastic around the tilt lever on both sides is busted off, but that seems to be pretty common. Not a great design by Jeep I'm sorry to say.

the pic is bad, but the driver side actually looks cleaner than the pass in person.

why the d-rings?

Ya don't need to worry/bother with your recovery gear slip'n off. I also prefer them.

The truck looks GREAT!!

I also do not like hooks and prefer D-rings. They are simply safer. I haven't added the thimble to the TJ's cable. But I LOVE it on the MJ syn rope!!!

Here is the TJ:

Here is the MJ:

The MJ's rear bumper is getting two of these as soon as they make some up for me!! These are designed for a 2" thick bumper, mine is 4". :D

Nice CW....

I know this is supposed to be a "Square Light" thread, but here's the front of my TJ. the plan is to eventually swap this big wide Hanson front bumper for something stubbier, but that probably won't happen till I get my tube fenders.

Swapping the Black Dash Insert thing with the Silverish one that pulled from the Laredo at the JY... I'm working on the 97 XJ Full Console swap later today and this week...more pics coming. I also got new Dome Lights (with intact mounting tabs) that I need to clean up and get swapped in as well...

I'm a fan of the silver as well

It looks better in the truck than what the pics look like.

I also have a line on a SWB Roll Bar from a Member on here from San Jose that I hope to get this week too!

i agree it does look better...i have the same one

hopefully that deal works out, a rollbar would look great in your truck.

Well, I started to test fit my new 97 XJ Full Console when I realized that I have more standing water, mostly on the passenger side, so I went ahead and pulled the entire interior (AGAIN)... So now I get do to more water tests, and I thought I had the leaks figured out. I guess not... If I could PAY someone to just fix all my interior leaks for me, I'd pay good money for that!!! REALLY REALLY REALLY Frustrating.

check around the windshield fframe thats where it leaks on one of mine

Do you pop the trim off to check? Can you see it coming in from the inside?, I've removed the interior plastic and do notice some rusted parts and pieces up under the dash on passanger side (light mounting brackets, etc).

no i was able to see from the water mark down my interior trim. and also because my glove box keeps filling with water. but popping the trim off would probably help

I'm about ready to pull the whole f'in dash to figure it out...it's really pissing me off...

Started to clean up the Roll-bar a little bit to prep for eventual new skin... There was some "multi-decade" old Duct Tape and a bumper sticker up top that needed to come off, and I knocked off all the loose rust/paint that I could with a wire wheel. I don't have any POR15 (or any place local that sells it), so I was thinking about just some good coats with spray "Krylon Rust Proof", which I've had good luck with in the past, and I don't live in overly "rusty" location (even though this bar was "local", and you can see what the front mounts look like)

Also, I don't know that I'll ever run fog lights up there, but I'm weighing going ahead and running a pair of wires through the bar and leave a disconnect or something just in case.
