wranglercory Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Does anyone have pictures of a spring over before and after. I want to do it but I only am looking for 4"s of lift and what will I need or what can I use to do the front preferably using all Jeep parts .
89eliminator Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 no lift 6.5in coils front, 4.5in Rustys leafs back 6.5in coils front, SOA with stock 2wd springs rear
HOrnbrod Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Good pics Wade. Question: which lift handled better bodyroll-wise? The SUA 4-1/2" rear lift springs, or the 2WD SOA lift? :D

JeepcoMJ Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 keep in mind that your new perches add height. the lower the perches, the less lift you will gain. it is better, if you're looking for a net gain of less than 5", to go with the shortest perches possible.
xjcrazy09 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 First picture is SUA on 31s Second picture is SOA cut on 33's
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I used the Motion Offroad Bolt-On SOA kit w/factory 4wd leafs. It got me 6.5-7" of lift. Before w/31's: After w/31's and rear trimmed fenders w/TJ front flares, I was running RE 4.5" coils and it sat "butt high": After w/35's and 6.5" Motion Offroad Coils: 5 Bonus points who can tell me who's MJ tail light that is in the right hand side of the pic. :D
james750 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 crazyxj. did u build that rear bumper or buy it? that is the best design ive seen yet!! Lead_Not_follow: What axles are u runnin the 35"s on?
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Lead_Not_follow: What axles are u runnin the 35"s on? D30/open and D35/open with 4.10 gears. Haven't had an issue yet. Will I explode the D35; yes eventually. But it was a budget build and figured I'd wheel it till it breaks THAN put my D44 in it. I wheeled it 1 season and wasn't easy on it and haven't broke it yet... On my XJ I run a D30/locked and D44/open with 35's and a lot more power to turn them. Only issue I have axle wise is I keep breaking input yokes...
james750 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 breakage on the 30 or the 44? is this an HP44 or a standard 44?
