sinned96 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I just got a 2006 Yamaha Wolverine 450 4X4 yesterday. It's a blast to ride and fits perfectly in the back of my 86 longbed with enough room left over for gas cans and other gear.
GirsMJ86 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 thats pretty cool. how do those things 4x4 system work? are they any good? i have a honda recon o(r sumthin like that) but its only 2wd and will go almost anywhere but snow. alex
sinned96 Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 Well I was in a muddy pond about 3 foot deep 40 foot across and it just crawled all through it with no problem. Hell I was driving around in circles in the pond. The water was coming right over the top of the front fenders as I went through it. I have yet to get it stuck. I'm going to the mountians somewhere in Oklahoma this weekend I'll really get to see how well it works.
GirsMJ86 Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 sounds cool man. those things are just great arent they. like little jeeps for the really tight spots. :D alex
Pete M Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 I wish I had money for a toy like that. Of course I also wish I had a place near me to ride it... :( Stupid suburbs.
bigd44889 Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 i'm more interested in the car in the backround
sinned96 Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 i'm more interested in the car in the backround You can check out the car here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/820779 I just got the motor back from the machine shop. Its a 455 bored .030 over to a 462. It has forged pistons, around a .500 lift cam, 9.5 to 1 compresion, roller rockers etc. etc. I'm hoping for 500hp and 500 ft lbs of torque on pump gas.
Oizarod115 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 you think one would fit in the back of a shortbed? i REALLY wanna get one
