Lines, Wires, Etc

Hi all, 

After further review I need to replace and refresh my vacuum system and wiring harness, in regards to the vacuum system for a renix where is the best place to get those lines?

The majority of the little plastic lines can be purchased off of rock auto.  Dorman 46003 and 46004 are the parts you need.  There are some other vacuum lines in the truck you may have to search harder for those or just replace with generic line from an auto store.

I have a 1987 Comanche and it says this part will not fit. Is there one that will fit an 87?

I got mine at NAPA, although I have 1990.  But you might check there.

Those dorman numbers are for the 4.0. Your signature says you have a 2.5. I don't know what the vacuum harness setup is for the 2.5, maybe @eaglescout526 knows?

Oh yes I do know. I used that same set up. I had to modify it and that mostly involved cutting hoses to mirror the old set up. I doubt there was anything wrong with mine but it was brittle.

FWIW, Here's the parts catalog page for the 2.5.

(Half the time I can't find what I am looking for in these, but might have gotten lucky this time )

Of course having a part number doesn't mean the part is actually available and you may still have to be creative like @eaglescout526!

Did you use the 46003 or the 46004?

Both I’m pretty sure. If I remember right those two numbers are halves and I clipped the two together and proceeded to modify it to the 2.5L.

Yes the two part numbers clip together in the middle of the harness.
