terryt Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 1990 MJ My passenger floor is wet and thoughts as to why?
Pete M Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 could be anything. bad door seal, failed windshield seal, failed antenna grommet, or any of the plethora of holes and gaps in the firewall. here are some I found in a recent truck repair:
llhat Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 in addition to above... a/c condensate drain clogged heater core leakage
87MJTIM Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 If it smells like antifreeze, then your heater core is leaking. If it is just water, then there several possibilities, including all the options above. Check the condensation drain opening. From the engine bay, there is a pipe coming out of the firewall below and to the right of the blower motor. Disconnect the short hose (if still attached) and clean out the pipe.
coolwind57 Posted August 7, 2025 Posted August 7, 2025 I had this once. Turns out it was my rear windshield. Had developed a leak and when it rained, it all ended up in the passenger floor board. Have a quick look at your rear windshield.
