coheed Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 As much as it bums me to sell this, I just don't have the time or resources to devote to restoring this camper properly. I would prefer it go to a Comanche owner since it's lived on a Comanche most of its life. Some background on the camper and info in this post: Currently the camper is mostly taken apart. The canvas is off, and the roof hasn't been reattached with the new foam core I made out of poor man's fiberglass. I have a myriad of parts that I bought for it including; new canvas, some XPS foam, dicor sealant, turnbuckles, a new roof vent, contact glue, elastomeric roof paint, and other stuff that will be included. At this point I'd just like to get money back out of it and it go to a good home. Asking $1600obo right now, and would also consider trades for an ARB bumper
coheed Posted April 27, 2025 Author Posted April 27, 2025 Bump, I'm planning a trip to Flagstaff in a month along this route and would be willing to bring this with me for a club member. I'd also trade for an ARB bumper for my truck. Again I'm flexible on price
coheed Posted May 1, 2025 Author Posted May 1, 2025 Is the price too high? No one wants to deal with this much of a project? Both?
watchamakalit Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 To me personally the turn off would be the project aspect. There is a good amount of work to renovate\restore a camper. I would love a little slide in like this for my MJ, however I already have too many projects. Just my take on it. Hope that helps. Good luck with the sale.
derf Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 I don't mind a project. But I'm out of the way to get it and my cash reserves wouldn't allow it. Besides, I'm still working on getting my MJ running to carry it. But the price is reasonable.
Smokeyyank Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Not gonna lie, I'd love it but way too many projects at the moment. Price isn't bad, does need a good bit of work though which is the tricky part.
Javelinmania Posted May 20, 2025 Posted May 20, 2025 Looks interesting - but have too many projects - and I'm local - Columbia, SC
coheed Posted June 17, 2025 Author Posted June 17, 2025 Entertaining any serious offers. Would like to get this off of the trailer and to someone that can appreciate it. I'd be willing to drive and meet a few hours from Fort Mill SC.
coheed Posted September 16, 2025 Author Posted September 16, 2025 Bump would also consider trades for some nice highland check wingback seats as well.
coheed Posted September 30, 2025 Author Posted September 30, 2025 $1700 obo, would like to get my trailer back without having to unload this thing onto blocks in the yard
coheed Posted November 5, 2025 Author Posted November 5, 2025 Bump, $1600obo. My truck is drivable again, so I could meet within a few hours of Fort Mill SC for the right deal.
derf Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Now that I have a longbed build in the works, I'm a lot more tempted... Just have to check on the budget. And figure out how to get it to Denver...
