TX_Heat
Hey everyone, I'm in need of a new fuel pump and assembly for my 1992 Jeep Comanche. If anyone has any recommendations for reliable brands or places to buy from, I’d really appreciate it. I found one on RockAuto for $90 but after reading through some post here, I don't know if that's the one I should get. Any advice or experiences would be super helpful. Thanks in advance! Eagle_SX4
The only company that makes a new one is MTS. https://www.mtscompany.com/sendingunits.htm The one you want is a JPSU-7. They don't take online orders so you will need to call them.
Big_Mark
gle-SX4 is correct, I got mine from them and it works great, they are a great company to deal with.
TX_Heat
Thanks guys, I'll be placing an order tomorrow. Do y'all know about how much the unit was? Also, should I go with the fuel pump they sell or a Bosch? I've seen the Bosch mentioned a few times when it comes to fuel pumps.
Eagle_SX4
The Bosch unit is a great choice but as far as I know the 69302 has been discontinued. You might get lucky and find one on eBay. I've got the fuel pump they sell and it is working well. I have been running it for about 3.5 years.

Not sure on yours but the one I ordered for the 4.0 in my '89 was $171.

I don't remember, exactly but it was a great price considering they are the only one making these!
camjeep3
For simplicity I would order the sending unit and pump from them. ( They also sell on eBay) I already had a bosch pump before I knew I also needed a sending unit. I had to adapt the pump to fit.

TX_Heat
Thanks for the replies guys. So the fuel sending unit (TYC 150296A) listed on RockAuto for the 92 MJ is for a Cherokee. Just got off the phone with MTS and they are out of stock of JPSU-7P. There's a 3 month lead time on them so I'll be waiting to hear back about that. TX_Heat
Thanks for the idea. I checked but the ones I found look identical to the assembly I got from RockAuto. They also say they're shipped from China. MTS claims to make theirs in the US but the picture of JPSU-7P also looks the same from eBay.
