watchamakalit
I've never had the trim that goes under the bucket seats too the floor. Now that I have a set I'm not sure what fasteners they use. Can someone help me out on how to mount these?
eaglescout526
Oh these clips are neat. Think of the clips that hold the grill that take the screw, now replace the screw with a push pin and it secures the trim in place. This being said, I’ll get a part number and pic if no one beats me to it this evening.

eaglescout526
I wouldn’t call it quits yet. They may still be out there.

I'll never call it quits looking. I am just aware the frustration in finding the unobtanium pieces.
fiatslug87
You can use any type of two part push fastener that will fit the seat base hole. If you didn’t need NOS bumper brackets you don’t need these exact fasteners.
Eagle_SX4
Go to your local parts store and find some body clips you like and then drill the holes in your trim panel and seat base to the right size. Then you will be able replace the them with readily available clips. Most parts stores have a wide selection down one of the isles usually on a revolving rack. 89 MJ
If your auto parts store doesn’t have it, ask to see their Auveco catalogue. You’ll find the clip you need there, I can just about guarantee it. Otherwise an autobody supply place would have the same catalogue and the people would probably know what they’re talking about. pizzaman09
Most parts stores have rotating racks of these sorts of clips. The rivets on the seat trim are very similar to these BMW plastic rivits which are super inexpensive. I was planning to use one of these to hold the plastic trim on my seat in the refurbishment I'm doing right now. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-fender-liner-rivet-51161881149?ads_cmpid=21608260482&ads_adid=164927063021&ads_matchtype=&ads_network=g&ads_creative=715103588145&utm_term=&ads_targetid=pla-2338160550696&utm_campaign=&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&ttv=2&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA_NC9BhCkARIsABSnSTaSTWzMcPyftG-9Os8OR32t8SbJBBeEq0Ln_TVeaV9ykPFMxomiKsYaAvW3EALw_wcB

eaglescout526
Try checking renault stuff.
89 MJ
That’s a good idea. Particularly the Renault Alliance. They had the same seats as the standard XJ/MJ buckets (non wingback style).
