Best MJ story- First vehicle I ever purchased new on my own back in 1988. Very fortunate to get her back in 2020.  Met and first dated my wife 34 years ago in this truck. That’s the only reason she’s letting me fix it up. Maybe she thinks I’ll leave in it now? Lol

CC is Awesome! Why? Comanche Club is the best source of information when you’re rebuilding the greatest mid size truck ever produced. And it’s still more Jeep than anything being produced today.

A mighty fine looking truck.   I am guessing it's an automatic truck as opposed to an AX-15 manual as stated or had it been converted?

You are absolutely right that the Comanche is the best mid sized truck ever built.

typo.  I fixed it :L:

Depends on the condition/dings, rust abatement, bends etc. I probably have close to $7500 -$8000 in it, for all the paint and body work down to the metal, doors, etc.,  but there was a lot done and the color was changed. The driver's side bed was badly bent behind back wheel. Price also included Rhino lining the bed, repairing the drip rails over the doors and painting the OEM wheels and all trim gloss black. With the body in good shape and going back with the same color, 5k is probably reasonable.
