My 2005 Honda cr-v just turned 400,000!

We bought it new in December 2004. It’s a 5 speed manual. Honda stopped offering manuals in cr-v after ‘06. Now we start the countdown to 500k.

Who else has high mileage vehicles?

We’ve taken a 1998 XJ to 453,000 on the original 4.0, never opened up.

Second one was a 99 that was still going strong just over 300k when we gave it to our daughters insignificant other and he clammed it up shortly after.

Also had a 96 XJ that hit 335 before it evaporated.

Not quite as high but my 00’ XJ is at 282k on its second motor (spun 3 bearings and all 6 with piston slap, put in at 279k) very poor maintenance.

My Tempo had 200K on it. 96 Ford Contour was sold with 214K . Hear 230K a few years after. My 81 MB 240D 300K+. My 2000 XJ is at 280K. Poor maintenance by previous owners. No Tupy head is OK. It cracked a piston skirt about 2 month ago. I have a mini-stroker in it, I've been working on for 2 years. Hopefully, this week, I'll get it running. Engine is in, primed. Needs header, intake and some other stuff.
