I don't have enough good things to say about the Firestone Destination ATs on my Eagle (225/75R15) or on my Comanche (31x10.50R15). They're quiet, have great traction in all conditions, and wear well. I've never needed 4 wheel drive in my Comanche, even when I've had the suspension close to flexed out and the Eagle was my winter car and I never needed 4 wheel drive in that one either.

It doesn't matter this is the 2nd set of wheels I've tried n i don't have enough lug sticking through. I don't wanna change all the studs. The back is simple but i heard front is a pain. I'm just gonna chalk it up as a loss n order an 8 inch steel set. Maybe I'm just an idiot idk.

If you are looking for the toughest tire out there in that size I would suggest Cooper

Discoverer® S/T MAXX

I would place them in between an AT and Mud tire. This is a rugged tire, actually 9 ply's, I had Goodyear Duratracs before, 6ply.

I like the BF Goodrich sand and mud. Got them on my JK Chief and LJ.   Don’t know if you can see them in the pics
