Olympic Edition Window Sticker

Does anyone have any pictures of these stickers as they came from the factory?  There are a few reproductions out there, but I haven't seen any original pictures beyond this very badly weathered one.  I'm primarily trying to find out the color scheme to reproduce for someone with an original Olympic edition MJ...

Thanks for sending that over.  That's the one I've also found online, which from my understanding is an "almost-perfect" reproduction.  For example, it's missing the "U.S." before "Olympic Team".  I also believe the secondary outer black frame was not on the original.

 

While I certainly like the updated one better aesthetically, I believe some folks want it as close to original as possible.

My guess is it’s the same color as the Olympic stripes.

After I sent my first response your pic uploaded I noticed that the one in your pic has US olym team then I checked out Dennis Collins olym Comanche walk around and his was a 14k truck with the US on it too so now I’m wondering if mine is the repro no matter I like the colorful one better.  Would like to see a pic of your friends olym edition.  By the way. Dennis’s isn’t a olym edition. Needs the gold strip for that. Dealer probably had stickers to put on

Catalog shows the same part number for the XJ and MJ along with U.S. being on the sticker.

It would also be better if it was a reverse print so it clings to the inside of the glass. Would last a lot longer that way

Thank you, I think it was a later model thing, instead of getting metric ton on the tailgate, they got it on the back window. Not 100% on that so if someone knows feel free to correct me

I’ve seen the sticker and nameplate on all the model years except 86 for the sticker.

Anyone know the measurements of the Big Ton sticker?  My guess would be 4” x 1.5”

Olympic Edition and Big Ton stickers have been designed and sent to the print shop.  I’ll update you all when I have them available to ship.
