Jeep Commander interior lights

has anyone ever tried using these as a replacement for the Comanche's?

Hadn’t seen those before but they are the right shape. What are the dimensions? Are they easy to find?

2005-2010 jeep commander, they have 4 per vehicle, and theyre 6$ used on Ebay, and i bet even cheaper at a pick-n-pull. ill measure mine tomorrow, my daily is a 2007 commander.

I just bought a 91 mj from California.  Needing a replacement Interior light...any thoughts?

If these Commander lights fit they would be a good option, they look a little bit too big to me though. I have a pair of Mk5 VW Golf dome lights that work well in mine. Mk4 and I think Mk3 have the same dome lights. They look different, but fit the same hole.

I have several of these Commander lights.  They are to big to fit the stock opening.  If you are ok with modifying your stock opening, they might work, although I think the S10 Blazer cargo lights are a better option.

rather than pulling mine out of my Commander, i ordered a couple off Ebay tonite, we'll see how this goes.

comparing the size differences between a stock MJ and XK interior\courtesy lights. ill be going this route to replace mine in my restomod project 10BEARS. i think this is the best route for me because they are Jeep parts for one, and they are plentiful and very cheap. this XK light was 10$ shipped to my door, and id imagine even less money at pic-n-pull. the actual install in the interior panel will be shown on my build thread on here.

thats actually the original manufacturer for Jeep, sorry i just saw your post, i assumed these were NLA due to the high prices for used ones.

I can second the euramtec lights. Changed mine out with very little modification needed. They work great
