Limeyjeeper
ghetdjc320 found these guys. I happened to be near their shop so I dropped in and chatted with the owner Chad. They do all sorts of high quality bellhousing adapters. Far superior in design to anything Novak or Advance Adapters creates. Super nice guy. He also does a ton of Cummins R2.8 conversion parts. If you are in the market for a bellhousing conversion he is really worth a look. https://quickdrawbrand.com/product/ls-to-ax15-bellhousing-adapter-kit Shop LS to AX15 or NV3550 Bellhousing
eaglescout526
Wonder if these guys would do a 2.5L AX15 bell.
Limeyjeeper
They might. They seem to have the process down pretty good.

I don’t have any future plans to swap unless I was trashing AX5’s left and right. But that being said how many Dakotas were made with the 2.5L and AX15 combo to where we can still find them and it ask an arm and a leg. Pete I know you’ll suggest carpart as sometimes those yards don’t know the value of them.
gogmorgo
Short of the places that part out everything and sell bits online, I don't know how much junkyards don't know so much as they don't really care about rarity. Most have the attitude that everything ends up there in the end, and usually don't have real estate to hang onto "rare" items until they can sell them for higher dollars. Better to set prices at fixed points, generally based on whatever they're worth as scrap vs how much someone would be willing to pay, and not worrying about how it affects your turnover rate. It's good for us if we get there at the right time, but less great in how much stuff gets recycled. It goes both ways, one man's treasure is another man's trash. I have thought about it a lot during my battles with the internal slave. Now its more of if how many times for an AX5 will it take to fail for me to do the swap entirely. ghetdjc320
The nicest thing I like about this adapter is that it uses a Jeep external slave, fork and throw out bearing. From the pressure plate forward it’s Chevy parts. Aside from the bellhousing, there are no custom parts or funky adaptations needed. Looking forward to giving these a try.
