This past summer I sold my clean 88 pioneer. Just wasn’t what I was wanting and needed some motor work. Fast forward to a few weeks ago I get contacted from a buddy looking to sell his 88. Too clean to pass up. I plan on keeping this one!

 

Quick specs: 88 4.0/AW4. Two wheel drive (dana 35). Buckets, rear slider, LED headlights, lowered 3”, powder coated factory rims. Was repainted at one point that’s showing some defects. Short term plans are to patiently wait till salt clears and drive it. Long term would be to repaint it.

What is it about the paint that you don't like? Can't say I'm a huge fan of the color, but some factory graphics could liven up the party for sure.

That color with the interior kinda says it, i think.

I think it would look fantastic with some maroon Pioneer stripes. Maybe Sportruck stripes.

I actually like the exterior/interior color combo lol. But the execution of the respray was meh at best.
This isn’t the only bad area either.

If did marroon stripes that be cool. But I see what you mean with the paint job. Definitely worthy of a killer paint job. Just don't do red.

Finally got this thing registered. Had to change out the harmonic balancer because it was absolutely shot. Still have a squeal but I’m thinking the belt is shot. Feels good to be back in a road worthy MJ again

there are seemingly no car shows where I live, or I'm just not aware of them.  I was just talking to the wife about that the other day.  Back in WI there were tons of them.
