However, I remember someone saying they were sending a NOS one to Phoenix Graphics (???) for reproduction. I haven’t heard anything since I last spoke to the gentleman about getting them done. OP, you can call Phoenix graphics and see if they have them yet. Or I can tomorrow.

Jlindsey86
I spoke with Nathan at Phoenix Graphix this morning. He was not aware of any effort being made to bring the '91 and '92 "Pioneer" decals to production. I mentioned Comanche Club to him but he was unaware of any NOS decals being sent to Phoenix Graphixs.
eaglescout526
Hmmm. I’ll see what I can do. I think I still have the emails from the guy who was gonna get it done.

On another note, anyone see any reason why this hood wouldn't be a direct bolt on replacement for my 92 Comanche? Summit tells me it is incompatible. Pete M
pretty sure all hoods are the same for XJ/MJ 87+ . based on the poor reviews of aftermarket fenders though, I'd probably try the junkyards first before buying an aftermarket hood.
Jlindsey86
Thanks Pete. A hood from any year model XJ should be a direct fit for any year model MJ right?

You’ll want 87-96. 84-86 are different in terms of how it latches closed.

My hood has so many dents in it from sitting under a pecan tree for years that I have consistently been quoted $1000 to have them removed via PDR. On top of that it has cracked and peeling paint. My thought is that it would make sense to purchase a different hood that needs far less work, swap it onto the truck and then have it painted and blended into the quarter panels. Oh easy. They need original graphics, either new, repro or a vehicle that still has them.
eaglescout526
In front of them works the best but I’m sure if you got them measurements they would be able to reproduce the graphics.
Jlindsey86
Finally got around to having my control arms swapped out with some new ones. It's amazing just how much more feeling I have of the front end now. This was long overdue, they are called control arms for a good reason!
