54bobby Posted April 8, 2021 Share Posted April 8, 2021 2 questions, #1, is this the sensor located in the intake manifold known as the MAT sensor. #2, will it work in my 87 2.5? i know my MAT is nla, and i also know that there was different ones with different input/output values so just any one won't work. knever3 Posted April 15, 2021 Share Posted April 15, 2021 Off topic to some extent, my 4.7L stroker has always had a up and down idle and seems worse when cold. Would this be a possible place to look? I haven't looked into the problem, I have just dealt with it. I have a Snap On scanner and a multimeter, just haven't had the time to allocate to it. I will buy one if I know how to test mine, it's an '87 by the way, but it has most parts from a '90. Actually these Jeeps are all random parts, mine isn't any different.
