Looking for my first Comanche and I’m not sure if this is a good deal or not. I am willing to do some work for sure. Can someone tell me if this is worth trying to pick up for my first one. I would appreciate any input. In a side note, I’m not sure I did the link right. Lol. Thanks guys.

The interior looks in good shape. I love the tan. Has a nice ding on the passenger side pillar.

It’s the 4.0 and 4x4, the interior’s nice, and if it’s mechanically working fine. If it’s truly not rusted then I don’t think the price is far off

what's your skill set?  30 year old trucks need more "lovin" than modern cars.   

 

check for rust!  everywhere!

Looks like it has a bit of rust on the doors but by door jams doesn’t look too bad. I’m still new to the whole Comanche line but it looks like it could have potential. Are those engines pretty durable and easy to work on?

If it has been maintained, they will last forever. If they haven't been maintained, they're a PITA. The engine bay is a little small, especially if you need to replace the harmonic balancer, water pump, and alternator. Ask me how I know.

Another thought, once you get this one, you are quickly going to want another, just keep that in mind.

It looks like it has a newer master cylinder and a new coolant pressure bottle on it, so it appears that this owner is trying to maintain it at least. And it has a front skid plate, which is pretty nice.

That headliner would have to go as well. On a side note, it has one black mirror and one mirror that looks to bolt on to the body. Which one do you think it came with? I like the one mounted on the door but not sure how easy that is to do.

It came with the mirror that is on the driver side. I have some of those mirrors if you need a good set.
