Yes, that is a factory sport bar.

Thanks

Considering that it is an OEM rollbar, has a factory sliding rear window, an AX-15, and has a rust free bed, I will probably try to get it, as long as I have my dad's permission. That way I could still break close to even if I decide not to fix it (don't know why I'd decide that, it looks like a good, fixable truck).

Looks like a good buy to me.

That's what I'm thinking, just as long as my dad approves.

Hopefully he will approve. That's a ton of good parts worth well over a grand.

less-awesome beds are easy to come by :L:

the shims change from bed to bed and body to body so it might take a bit of effort to get the body lines lined up right.

I'm sure he will. That's why I'm asking him and not my mother. I know what my mother would say, and its probably not repeatable. :roflmao::peep:

That they are!

I am willing to put in the extra work to have 2 MJs. I love these trucks. These are good little trucks, I'm definitely going to start hoarding these.

the longbeds have 6" more in front and 6" behind the tires

ohh that actually makes a lot of sense. are the driveshafts then different?.

also I'm sad to see that metric ton come and go

while we're on that topic, the frames underneath are very different too.  and the shocks for a sb are behind the axle while a longbed's are in front of the axle.  leafs are the same length though.

The long bed fuel door just looks wrong. Why didn't they center it?

Well they have different fuel tanks so it might have something to do with that

I feel kinda attacked here lol. I love my king bed. I think everything about it looks right. But the short bed to me looks odd. To each is there own.

I agree 89% lifted lwbs are the greatest can’t wait to do mine

as with most things for people, what you see first leaves a lasting imprint and tends to sway your opinions later on.  just part of the human condition.  :D

No attack just my OCD not being okay with just slapping a door too close to the flare IMHO. My OCD brain just doesn't like it.

Lol that’s fair and I understand. The XJ is practically the same way.
