Swampy
I don't yet but I'm planning on either the dirtbound 3 link or the stinky fab long arm kit. I know of a member trying to remember his screen name that was running 4" of lift and the cavfab 3link.

Yeah my issue is that i see that 87 comanches with a manual tranny have issues using xj long arm kits

Muncher
1 hour ago, MiNi Beast said: why? From what I saw in another thread the manual and auto trans in a 87 sit in a different spot so the 87 manual won't work with some long arms because of the tranny location
MiNi Beast
interesting. perhaps just the trans mount different between auto and manuals or difference with crossmember hole locations

derf
Yeah, the Peugeot BA 10/5 uses a different crossmember that interferes with a lot of long arm kits. Reason number 40279 to upgrade to an AX15.
neohic
What’s your reasoning for needing long arms? 4.5” rides great with short arms and drop brackets.

Seems like it'd be nice to have the extra flex. Plus just listing to my dad who has long arms on his tj and says it rides a lot better
MiNi Beast
4.5" with long arms shall work great and still have be able to lift more later if desired. always build for 2 sizes up i say can't hurt.
Smokeyyank
I have a cavfab kit on mine with about 4". It was the first kit and theres interference with the fuel line and the crossmember bolt. I plan on ditching it in favor of somehing else or fabbing.
