Ok since the MJ is totally done and doesn't need any more attention from me my dad and I picked up this cheap XJ as a little fix and flip type of project. I've decided to do it up as a YouTube episodic thing so I've been cranking on work and videos, have about 8 videos in so far.

So here is the first.......made a 20 second intro with some random videos I had on my phone and some free youtube music:

Since this is my first time doing all this....feedback and thoughts?

It appears the link text is the youtube link but the actual hyperlink is for this page.

If you right click, or click and hold on mobile, click "copy link text" then paste in the address bar it will take you to the video.

On the rear hatch, try pushing in, and then the handle. Try a few times. Somehow mine worked out. Then I sprayed the latch. Also, had doors like that. They were more involved. Much better than what I've started with. Looks clean overall. Good fender, $90, Header Panel $200, Rear Hatch $100-$200. Clean interior, find better seats or a cover.

Rear hatch is fixed already. Havent managed to find a white fender yet, straightened this one out decently. Scored a complete new header panel assmbly for $40. Straightened the front bumper out pretty well where an end cap would make it look like nothing happened. But it looks like I will put an aftermarket front bumper on it. Got a set of JK wheels and tires on it now. Cleaned interior but have a seat rebuild to do still. Need to patch a floor rust hole.

I have like 8 more videos ready with details of all that work, but I'm holding off on uploading untill I decide the best way to do it. Scheduled releases seem to be good for keeping viewers/subscribers interested. I don't really want to play BS games, but I do want to grow the channel and try and monetize it however possible, ads on the video are one, but amazon affiliate links for the stuff I use are another good way.

a few of the junkyards on car-part.com include pics of the Jeep.  wish more did, but oh well. :(

Yup, looked there already, nothing close to me. Few color matching body parts and it would be really straight. I'll keep an eye out, but at this point I've decided to leave the fender being banged up over painting a green one I have here.

There’s a white 96 at an lkq in jessup md

96 is older style.

99 would work. Maryland is the opposite side of the country from me.

EDIT

Closest white fender to me is 400 miles away in Idaho, so not exactly local. And I doubt shipping will be reasonable or arrive un-damaged.
