JeepComanche1988 Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Hey, I just got my first Comanche it's a 88. It's a pioneer. Manual. 4x4. Inline 6 4.0. I was just looking for any tips and suggestions for me. It starts and runs fine. Just has some shaking when driven. I am currently replacing the all the rear brake components and bearings. Haven't looked at the front yet.
olddude Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Welcome. Be prepared to spend your spare time and money. Describe the shaking, In the steering wheel?
JeepComanche1988 Posted August 4, 2020 Author Posted August 4, 2020 No, it's not in the steering wheel. The back drums were moving around and contributed to the shaking. It felt more like the tire just wasn't going down the road correctly. The guy I bought it from thought it was the wheel bearings.

Smokeyyank Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Welcome! Are all of your tires the same and new(er)?
JeepComanche1988 Posted August 6, 2020 Author Posted August 6, 2020 No, the were all pretty bad but I got a new set but haven't had a chance to drive with them yet. I'm sure that was contributing to some of the shaking.
