It's not.

I have it parked in my garage, out of the rain until I can get the windshield and gasket replaced, the window track and wipers replaced, and can start hunting leaks. I ordered the kit from OC Carpets and the window track is backordered.

I also have a bathroom I need to get installed in my basement, and for some reason (daughter and her boyfriend living down there) my wife thinks that's a priority. I figure I should be back working on it in February.

I have a sub panel to wire, plumbing to run, shower, vanity, sink and a pump toilet to get installed.

Add work, with 1/3 of my full time staff out with COVID things are a bit busy.

I've covered several sick shifts myself the last couple of months.

And they couldn’t do this project mostly on their own why?

Sounds like you got your work cut out for you. Bathroom work gets extensive quick.

Yup. At least the pumping toilet doesn't have to go far, the sanitary drain is right on the other side of the wall. Just 8' up. Walkaway basement...

Lack of trust, it's my house, and I suspect if I just turned them loose, things would get done fast, maybe even half fast...

Well, life happens, so I'm forced to drive my truck. My daughter, with 3 kids is driving my full size, so she can have a rear seat, her car is in need of an engine. What's this maintenance of which you speak?

Anyway,  I decided I was no longer comfortable relying on the dryrotted tires on it. I had gotten a set of 2000 Cherokee Icons, and ordered a set of tires for those. The tire shop tried to fit them, and the center bore on the wheel is too small? Is that just my D35, or do the later Cherokees have a different wheel center bore?

Gonna have to grab my caliper,  and measure my KJ 8.25 and my 4.10 D30 before I install those. At least I saved some money on my "temporary" tires... 🤪

So I tried the wheels on my intended axles. They fit on the disc brake 4:10 8.25 Liberty rear. They do not fit in the CAD 4.10 Dana 30 front. I think t may have been fibbed to on what they came off of...

After measuring, scratching my head, measuring and puzzling, they fit on my intended axles after all. I don't know what the issue was at the tire store. Until I rebuild the front axle and get it installed, it won't really matter. I suspect I may have been creating my own problems.

I plan on getting to bearings, seals, brakes and u joints in a couple of weeks. Probably should go through the rear end, too.

Yup. I got a second set, with tires. I like them. Now I have a set of brand new 235/75-15s Load Index 109 that I don't need.

The problem is that the bearing hub is shaped quite a bit differently on the 2 wheel drive. They work fine without the center cap, and it will fit when I get it swapped to a 4wheel drive axle.
