Thoughts are to build a couple 1/2cubic foot boxes for a set of Type R separates I have laying around, tweets on the dash or pillars if I can find the factory pods that go by the wings on the doors and some decent lol 3 1/2” for the crap location in the bottom of the dash and an 8” for the bottom end.
120x4 amp to drive it all.

should sound fantastic :D

as an alternative idea, I put my tweeters in the doors to keep them closer to the mids.

Got these in over the weekend. Probably could have gone with the 4”. Don’t sound too bad at half volume but definitely no bottom end. Kinda hillbillied them in, used the tube from an ink pen and a couple long screws to mount them perpendicular to the floor and fire them out instead of down. Had to do a couple notches in the upper dash to clear my pen/screw arrangement and gorilla tape “enclosures” to keep them from backtalking.

you're surprised my truck has... door panels?   if it helps, the panels are exactly the same setup as they were when the truck was a 2wd daily. :L:  right down to the laminated map of the detroit area in the door pocket. :D

it's a glitch somewhere in the forum software as it interacts with some phone/laptop softwares.  :dunno:  but we've found if you alter the pic at all (eg: simply rotating it and rotating it back) and save, it should be right as rain when you upload it. :L:

Great build!  Love the fact that you've brought her back from the dead and reincarnated as a 4.0

It’s not done yet. Lockers are on the shelf still because I haven’t decided on 8.25 or 8.8. Probably be the 8.25..

Love it! rc wheeling seems almost as fun as the real thing. And no gas!

And nobody dies!  Well almost nobody

I finally had to put some money in it. Had a hp30 and 8.25 regeared to 4.10 with Spartans in both. About 2k all told. Cut and welded new 3 hole perches on the rear which let me slide the axle back the inch that the f150 leafs moved the 35 forward.

The front got new Dana balljoints new ujoints in the bigger late model axleshafts, SKF wheel beatings and full Power-Stop extreme towing brake kit.

New ujoints all around.

Bought a u-weld-it bumper kit from scamazon and set a $150 marketplace Smittybilt Tiger Shark 9500 in it.

Packed the bed full, changed the 20 minute break in oil in the difference and hammered it 1250 miles to Grand Junction, CO and hung out with a buddy for a couple days while we got a last minute thrash in on his Lexus, rear bumper, sliders and wiring for the arb fridge and inverter and a few other things. Changed the oil in the diffs, too couple other guys showed up from Portland and away we went.

600 miles through east central Utah, monument valley, Anasazi ruins, the Henry mountains and a bunch more.

Truck did fantastic other than popping a sway bar end link and the ubolts needing a retorque.

Made it out to moab after we got done and split up. I'm still trying to get the butt-puckers out of the seat covers. Got there shortly before dusk and had to finish out hells Revenge in the dark, alone.
