Got offered a trade

So I picked me up an 87 comanche sportruck for 1000 as my first truck. It has the 2.5 with 2wd. It’s a solid running truck and only has rust in the floorpans. The previous owner ran it into a parking pole and I have the parts to replace it with but the 80s era clips keep breaking and 1out of 4 bolts I’ve taken out has broke. It has no power windows or power steering, no ac. Anyways I got offered to trade with a 85 k20 suburban with a 6.2. It’s a solid truck. No rust other than the usual square body rust. It’s a manual with power windows, power steering, and ac. It has a six inch lift he said the only thing it needs is a fuel pump or a fuel pump sending unit to run. Should I trade? I love my Comanche and I’ve always wanted a Jeep but I’ve also always wanted a big diesel.

I personally wouldn't, especially for a vehicle that isn't running.  They could say it only needs a fuel pump all they want but you never know.   That always makes me weary because why wouldn't you just put a fuel pump in it to get it running and sell for a lot more?

What do they want cash wise for the K20 and what do they typically go for?

Ultimately come down to what you want to do but with the info you've given so far, and I know very little to nothing about the K20, I wouldn't.  But again that's just me.

He doesn’t want cash he put out a Facebook ad in a Jeep club asking if anyone wanted to trade an old Jeep for a Chevy. His trucks worth a lot more than mine that’s for sure and Idek what I’ll do

I've read that statement countless times on ads............total BS.

If it only needs that..........then fix it and then sell it running...........but........suckers are born.

Like asking- Should I turn left or should I turn right?

Do whatever suits you.
