Top rack

Since the MJs don't have much room in the truck and I have metal bars and the spare as the tail gate, I've been considering a top rack. What do you guys think about top racks on Comanches? Also where can I find decents ones under 150$

I've seen a few MJs where they added in shortened XJ bars up top.

Personally, I have thought about it for years.  My truck is a long bed with a SnugTop shell.  Several years ago I pulled the SnugTop off and tied it up in the Garage.  Found that better for my Home Depot or Lowe's runs.

Look up some pictures of Don's truck to see a classy shell top rack.

In that price range you might be able to do a set of cross bars that clamp to the drip rails.  Those kits are fairly universal.  You would just need to cut them down to your preferred width.

I have roof rails for newer Mopar Jeeps I'm selling and will be willing to let them go for cheap if you want to go that route.
