I'm trying to put AC in my 88 MJ
I have the C100 diagram for my parts jeep (89 xj) and I want to make sure it's compatible.

I have the 88 mj electrical trouble shooting manual  but it doesn't show the c100 connections.

It's compatible..........same thing right on up through '95 I believe.

88 Electrical Manual didn't offer cavity number with circuit ID for its connectors.

But page 8 of the '88 electrical manual shows the fuse panel wiring, and the C100 connection points are called out on that diagram.

True, but more than just page 8 goes through C100. You'd need to go through each page and find all C100 callouts. Didn't in 89 and above they had a connector end view with table of cavity numbers and circuit names. I thought that was what he was looking for.

Great so I can just slap the  89 engine side in there and I'm good to go?

Check the other end of that harness, there's a change in the connectors sometime around there, they went away from the GM Weatherpacks to Chrysler connectors.  It's obvious if it's a problem.

I figured I'd take the whole thing and get rid of the c101 too.

Have you looked at your '88 to see if the wiring for AC is present or are you just assuming that it is not?

AC relay should be present (wiring). Clutch wire should be there. AC pressure switch terminal should be there.

As far as I know that's about it.

I just confirmed there's no wiring at all for the AC and no AC relay.

yeah I thought the same
Just wanted to correct green and black terminates 6" after c100  so a small portion is there.
It's not on the interior c100 so you'd have to get those connectors and add it.
Also the Heater control wiring is a different style plug.
Non AC is a flat blade of plugs with only 2 wires
Ac is a square connector with 4-5.
