88towmanche
The fat lady is singing for the 30 year old rear view mirror in the cab of my '88 Pioneer - the silvering is gone in the center. Haven't found anyplace that lists or sells the OEM mirror - rather buy new than scavenge one out of a JY (probably from an XJ - still haven't found any JY MJ's up here) Nothing wrong with the mounting tab on the windshield - is that a weird size or can I just get a newer mirror and swap it out? Not important to me to keep the mirror factory correct, anyone know if newer jeep mirror (manual) swaps out? Or Ford or Chevy.....
Gearbox
Mine fell off windshield, missed placed it. Got one from a XJ, but glass stuck to the back of mount. Any idea how to remove glass
eaglescout526
I think Chrysler has maybe very few left. I’ll have to look. Edit: There are three left and they come with a screw. Edited June 21, 2019 by eaglescout526

DirtyComanche
It's a fairly universal mount. I put one out of a Dodge Ram in my DD because it's wider, which gives me a better peripheral.

Jeep Driver
FWIW- I don't remember which and I don't care to look for it.....but......... Early, AMC, windshields used Ford mirror mounts and IIRC later Chrysler mounts were GM mounts. If you have a later windshield with later mount, any GM mirror should fit. It may be the other way around but I don't think so...........GM mounts are bigger than Ford.

Or do you have to search for specific part numbers?
eaglescout526
The mirror part number I provided superseded back in 1988, discontinued in 2012. Chrysler says it works up till the 2001 model year. There’s one part number before it that runs from 84-92 then it supersedes. I have one of these new part number mirror and it fits I just like the look of my old mirror. 1 hour ago, DesertRat1991 said: So... what's the inside scoop on 91-92 Comanche fuel sending units (P/N 4637184)? I have access to a more updated catalog of parts and I can see where parts are at and if the superseded or not.
COM86
I went to the junkyard and grabbed a rearview mirror from a Chevy s10 or a blazer. They have map lights on the lower outside edge. Make sure that you get the silver button, and wire harness. Easy to hook up. Adds tons of light.
