Its called money. Cars aren't supposed to last beyond 10 years. The manufacturers of cars and trucks are hoping that people will purchase them new. Use them for 10 years or so then throw them away. Then go buy a new one.

Question, has anyone on Comanche club, Ford focus owner, ever heard of a fog light mod? What I'm saying is if you have the factory fog/driving (f.d.) lights, when you turn the light switch to parking /marker lights. You can pull on the switch to turn the f.d. lights on. But they won't come on until you turn on your headlights as well. But there is away to turn the f.d on without the headlights. I hate daytime headlights. Because they don't turn on the taillights as well. So you have these dumb @ss California drivers who just use the daytime lights at night. So I use the fog lights as a daytime light. And they look cool too. So if you want to know how, I will be happy to share.

Ok, I'm coming out of the closet. In the many problems I have and Comanche is one of them, I'm 54 years old and still play with trains. My drug of choice is 0n30 gauge. And I'm part of a group of other people who love 0n30 gauge on Facebook. I also love to get ideas from other different hobbyists with other scales. Like HO, O, N, Z, G, S, and rail fanning, kit bashing, dioramas, etc. So I thought why not start a group on Facebook that will incorporate all of that. 1986 jeep Comanche, 2.5 throttle body. My Factory plastic snorkel ripped. What other models, years will work?

1986 jeep Comanche, 2.5L . I thought that I have heard that a metal valve cover from a dodge Dakota will work. Years please. So I can look junkyard and possibly new.

I need a Factory air box and snorkel for a 2.5. My 86 snorkel split and died. Unfortunately living in California, if it doesn't look Factory, smog people have a cow.
