Tamadrummer Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 I was good with xj’s but cannot determine suspension height with tire size on mj’s yet. I bought this as it sits now. It’s on 31’s and the coils springs look painted/newer? The truck has almost no rust on the exterior and the leaf springs are surprisingly clean looking but not brand new. Eagle Posted November 26, 2018 Share Posted November 26, 2018 Optical illusion. On the lifted truck, the fender and flare have been removed up to the top of the bumper. The yellow lines I added follow the line of the bottom of the rocker panels. Notice how at stock height the line cuts well into the wheels, about to the top of the center cap. On the lifted truck, the line just nicks the tops of the rims. I stand by my original estimate of a 3" to 4" lift. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My flares are gone. Didn't realize they extend down past the fender and bumper. John Deere green over refrigerator white over O.E. maroon...blah. Prepping for Hugger orange now. Are all flares painted? Or molded in color...? I see what eagle means about the flare now. Previous owner had bondo over cracks. I took them off and threw them away. Not sure on the rear. I finally measured the ride height and the front is at 10.25” and rear is at 10.5”. I figure it’s a 3” lift in the front? And maybe new leafs in the rear to match? The leafs and shackles look stock A SOA will generate a minimum of 5 inches above wherever you sit now (not relative to stock height, relative to YOUR height).
