Pete M
what the title says. I've got the extensive slideshow from a guy who did a cheromanche and am looking for an easy way (or a volunteer?) to get them into regular ol' text for here at the forum. DirtyComanche
Powerpoint, wow, there's a program I wish had never existed. Edit, how many slides is it? Worst case I can probably type it out at work one of these days...
Pete M
86 cut-n-pasting each pic and little text box is an option, but I'm hoping for something less -inducing.
fiatslug87
Will this work for you? https://m.wikihow.com/Convert-PowerPoint-to-Word if not email it to me and I can give it a shot.
Pete M
I'm sending it to you. The best I managed to get is the text in a word doc, but missing all the pictures.

HOrnbrod
What are you trying to do Pete? I've done a lot of PP diagrams, and when complete it I just copy the whole thing then paste it in a blank canvas using a graphics program then save it as a .jpg graghics file. Example: 3rd Brake Light Wiring.ppt
Ωhm
MS XP powerpoint is saved two (2) ways. 1. Saved as .ppt allows you to edit and save the file. 2. Saved as .pps automatically launches the slide show. Which one do you have? I think you'll need .ppt in order to do anything with the file. Example: 3rd Brake Light Wiring.ppt I'm trying to get the text and pics out of the slides so they become searchable words and the pics get saved properly. it might not be all that necessary for this particular task, but now I'm trying to figure it out for the sake of figuring it out. saved as ppt
