anyone know how to easily make powerpoint into regular text?

what the title says.  I've got the extensive slideshow from a guy who did a cheromanche and am looking for an easy way (or a volunteer?) to get them into regular ol' text for here at the forum.

Edit, how many slides is it?  Worst case I can probably type it out at work one of these days...

cut-n-pasting each pic and little text box is an option, but I'm hoping for something less -inducing.

What are you trying to do Pete? I've done a lot of PP diagrams, and when complete it I just copy the whole thing then paste it in a blank canvas using a graphics program then save it as a .jpg graghics file. Example:

MS XP powerpoint is saved two (2) ways. 1. Saved as .ppt allows you to edit and save the file. 2. Saved as .pps automatically launches the slide show. Which one do you have? I think you'll need .ppt in order to do anything with the file.

I'm trying to get the text and pics out of the slides so they become searchable words and the pics get saved properly.  it might not be all that necessary for this particular task, but now I'm trying to figure it out for the sake of figuring it out.

alright, so clicking on "outline" has given me all the text as text.   but I still need to copy/paste the photos one at a time.
