SatiricalHen
Well I knew my fuse block wasn’t In the best shape. I’ve been putting this off since I bought the truck 2 years ago so I finally ordered some fuse pins. Taking apart the fuse block wasn’t to bad. This fuse connector was done for. This one is for the brake lights. I’m currently working little by little. It gets really hot here in Vegas pretty quickly and I work on it during dawn and sunset. ill keep updating this. I need to replace the other pins on the fuse block and I will update with the finished product I’ve seen these before, but where did you get them from? I don’t remember where they can be found. I have to twist my fuses to get decent contact. Also, how do those clip in? On my 99 Cherokee the stupid plastic tabs in the fuse box break if you look at them. Fernando87mj
Finally got to installing some new shocks on the old girl. The old shocks and steering stabilizer were far gone , to the point where I could compress the piston on the shocks with a finger. New shocks installed. Fernando87mj
I got lucky and Found some turbines for my other Comanche. So this beauty got the leftover wheels. Really like the look. I also got to fixing the the temporary vacuum “connections” I had and actually ordered the whole vacuum harness. I also order the rear Pcv line and the grommet. The old grommet was plugged with 30 years worth of oil and wear. i wasn’t a fan of how high the pcv line was sitting at first but after a few miles it’s settled down and sits the same as the factory one did. Thanks I bought them off rockauto , the material is a bit flimsy but all the holes lined up perfectly on the passenger side , I can’t say the same for the drivers side , there seems to Be a bit of evidence of a past fender bender in this truck. Regardless I don’t think you would have a problem with having it line up

Fernando87mj
Lots of updating to do. since last update I’ve.. -converted to open cooling system -replaced Speedo cable and speedometer head assembly -replaced trans fluid -replaced diff fluid -stared at it and fell more in love with it - got headliner and sunvisors reupholstered - replaced inner shift boot -added vent windows old and new boot , this made such a huge difference in interior noise despite the hate they get on here I really wanted vent windows and I have no regrets swapping them in. — converted to open cooling system , old radiator had already been leaking. Also wrapped and protected wiring , found passenger side horn wire was rubbed through and repaired it. spectra radiator had bung for renix fan switch. Fernando87mj
got the Dana 35 lookin all pretty. No after pictures. Forgot to take after pic. Replaced and matched the mileage on new to me speedometer head. Old one was seized and was hard to turn. matching mileage wasn’t that hard , just takes a little patience. swapped in better leds while I was at it. :) took my time and tried to clean all the Dust out of the cluster. Think it came out looking pretty good.
