93 grand 5.2 to 4.0 swap?????

K guys I got a 93 grand with a 5.2 and the Quadro Trac aw4 tranny. Will a 4.0 out of an MJ bolt up and how much modifications are involed?

Nope. 4.0 is AMC bell housing and 5.2 is Chrysler.

An AW4 was never bolted behind a 5.2L V8.

 

Besides that, you can't go from a V8 to the L6 unless you swap the wire harnesses, ECU, fuel lines, etc. etc.  Not worth the hassle, even if you had a donor ZJ to pull from.

As I recall he swapped a 5.2 into an MJ. The OP's wanting to put a 4.0 from an MJ into a V8 ZJ.

I did a 5.2 from a 2.5. The 4.0 swap isn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend it.
