comanche-man22 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 me and my friend were at his grandmas house and were trying to think of a way to drift his honda prelude. we came up with putting mcdonalds trays under the rear tires and locking the e-brake but then came to the conclusion that it would melt too fast... but then in his grandmas backyard there was garden tiles and a thought clicked in my head to use those instead and so we tried them and it worked like a miracle!!! :D a front wheel drive drifter!!!
comanche-man22 Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 you know on the way back home i was thinking maybe a 1/4" thick piece of steel? would that get too hot?
DirtyComanche Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 That's over-kill. Road signs are maybe 18g and they last a while. Throw lots of sparks if you do it during the night.
JeepcoMJ Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 saw this somewhere, and it's 100% true. also true of drifting hondas Having a 12-second Honda is like coming out of the closet. You're going to surprise a lot of people, but in the end you're still ghey.
feerocknok Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 My buddy used to drag his rear tires for blocks. He @#$%ed that car up.

Oizarod115 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 hahahaha we did that on some taco-bell trays in my friends mom's scion box. what is it the tc? idk, it was pretty fun. spinnin around like you're on glass :brows: little scion has NO pickup- but you can throw it into a corner and not lose control... its ridiculous how well it corners.
86FUBAR Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Get 2 old steel rims that fit the car then weld a piece of 1/4 plate to it and put a lipe on the front and rear so as not to dig in to the ground and gusit it acordingly , or u could glue multiple trays together. and jeepco i agree with u but u have not lived till u try it , it is very fun.
JeepcoMJ Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 :P what do you think i did with the vw cabriolet I had? drove it for the mileage???? haha, yeah right!
feerocknok Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 :P what do you think i did with the vw cabriolet I had? drove it for the mileage???? haha, yeah right! I thought it was show off your feminine side.
JeepcoMJ Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 man, i LOVED that car and am looking into getting another one...they're wicked fast and pretty pimp with ground effects. still a lil feminine but hey, it's a convertible.
87manche Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 cabrios are sweet, don't hate. I looked at one the other day, but it had been run pretty ragged. I'm really on the lookot for a diesel rabbit, preferably a caddy model. yes, I like to drive weird automobiles.
86FUBAR Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 jeepco I'm not gona knock yer vw but the GROUND EFECTS are ghey :brows:
JeepcoMJ Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I use ground effects to mean body kit, not neon lights. sorry to confuse... and by body kit I mean the early 90's lower trim....
