comancheman Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 ok the fourth option really isnt an option, i want some tires damn it. why no boggers dirty? i know they suck on road but this will be primarily for off road
Twisty Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 They are good for going straight, but when you turn, they don't have a lot of sideways traction. TSLs are the best tire for New England wheeling. I'd go with the 34x10.50s and drop brackets.
HOrnbrod Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 ok the fourth option really isnt an option, i want some tires damn it. why no boggers dirty? i know they suck on road but this will be primarily for off road ok, if the forth option wasn't really an option, WTF are you posting??
DirtyComanche Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 why no boggers dirty? As Twisty said, no side traction. They're great in the thick gooey mud as long as you have the power to get them spinning (self cleaning), and as long as you don't plan to go anywhere but straight ahead. In ALL other instances that are just horrible tires. In high traction rock like moab a guy can run them; but a BFG A/T would perform as good in that situation (and actually be round to boot). For slippery rock they'll go nowhere but sideways. Offcamber (even in dirt) they go sideways. In the snow you sink until you hit bottom (and you're done at that point). They don't like high speed either. And they're totally unstreetable. Okay, you can. But it sucks. Interco tires are rarely round. That said, a lot of guys run them and love them. And I can't rain on that.
Pete M Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Find some used LTBs, buy the brackets, and then save the rest for college. :D
86FUBAR Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I'm with pete except use the left over money as beer money  :brows:
comancheman Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 well id save it for beers but i was also given some of that for my graduation so were good as far as that goes. (i love my friends) i think I'm goin with the LTB's and drop brackets
feerocknok Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Doesn't money for college actually mean money for beer?
