nice comanche man. i just got a 1990 pioneer long bed for my first truck and I'm stoked. ur pretty lucky ur family is giving u all that money for parts and stuff. i paid $700 for mine (got it from a family friend) but its in pretty rough shape. it needs new brakes, new headliner lol and the exhaust as the current one ends under the pass. seat so she sounds like a diesel lol. she has paint thats sunburned af but she will be getting a matt green or matt black job soon. can't decide on if I'm gonna lift it or not but i will probably have to to fit my wild country 31's. I'm also gonna get a bumper/ brush guard with a 2'' reese adapter as my 8,000lb warn winch is on a custom reese hitch. . :MJ 1: .

Well bad news guys

I got all done in the back and started in the front then I realized that the back was too high. Turns out my leaf pack isn't stock so I was about 12 inch lift. I had to Take it all off then out the d35 back in because I need my truck by Monday. So I'll order the springs when I get the money then I'll start again.

Did you happen to measure with the jack stands on? Or with the tires on and the weight on the floor?

Judging by the pic with the 8.8 with jack stands and no tires...it looks like you had a lot of lift...

It was off the jackstands. I had to drive it out of the garage to do the front. Those leafs didn't really compress at all so ya, it was really high

nice lol I'm just now fixing the brakes on mine. where did u get the headliner for yours? its starting to get cold here in michigan and my roof is not insulated and it takes a while to heat up . :MJ 1: .

The bed was almost up to my neck and I'm 6ft tall

SMS headliners. I'll find his email here in a bit. It was 176$ but shipping was 50$ so it was 225$. Pricy but well worth it once you get it

So HP 30, 8.8, and all lift parts are in. Only hiccup I had was that Lee and I put on a wheel bearing from my old axle but it made it so my rotors hit the ball joint area and therefore the wheel wouldn't turn so I had to go buy a new wheel bearing and put that on. Other then that all is good. I'm probably going to have some driveshaft vibes but I got shims. Ill get a pic of the whole truck tomorrow. I also need to go get an alignment soon.
