Knucklehead97 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I've already gotten downpat how to upload pictures from a computer.. but recently my mother had our internet cut off because it sucked and we couldn't afford it. So I'm stuck to using my cellphone for all Comancheclub actions. I tried taking the link from Photobucket and doing things just how you would on a computer but then I noticed that the options for replying on here are VERY limited when using a phone. None of the fancy stuff like on a computer, and it's understandable why. But still I'd like to somehow be able to post pictures... does anyone know how to from a phone? I've got a LG phone with an Android operating system, if that helps any. Thanks.
Alexia Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 If you are using the web site and not Taptalk you can click on "Full Version" at the bottom to use the standard web site. It is more annoying to navigate on the phone, but it has all the fancy editor buttons. Alternatively you can manually type out the image BBCode tags around the image link.
Knucklehead97 Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Even with the full version all of the buttons don't show up for me. Would tapatalk make it easier to post pictures? I could download it if I had to.
benjy_26 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I can't post pics from my Android phone OR tablet even on the full website version. :-/
Knucklehead97 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 I can't post pics from my Android phone OR tablet even on the full website version. :-/ Maybe tapatalk can fix it for both of us lol.
Knucklehead97 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 Dang. I need opinions on things which can't be explained through words. Darn you living so far out in the country that you have beautiful land but no home internet service!
shelbyluvv Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Download foxfi if you have an Android and use it as a hotspot for free. It is free to use but will turn off after a few minutes. To buy it is stupid cheap and it has no time limit for hotspot.
Knucklehead97 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 Ill try that but it'll probably kill my data lol. Might just have to start stopping at the library after work :/
87Warrior Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I have always had good luck posting pictures using the code from the photobucket app and pasting them in Tapatalk. Most of my '86 build thread was done this way.
Knucklehead97 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 I'll download tapatalk Saturday and try it out :D
gogmorgo Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I've been able to post pics and things from my phone, using the mobile site and the BBcode tags. Unfortunatetly my dumbphone limits my posts to 255 characters, and url's take up too many to make it worthwhile. :( Good luck!
gogmorgo Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Try google? It's a very popular forum software, and there's lots of stuff out there. I mostly remember them from 15 years ago when all you got to post with was a text box.
Knucklehead97 Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Posting the IMG link from photobucket just in the normal reply section worked perfectly.
Appstate97 Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 <a href="target="_blank"><img src="http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag90/Neilyoung97/image.jpg1_zpsh0s2jgp5.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image.jpg1_zpsh0s2jgp5.jpg"/></a> Test
Keyav8r Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 I've been able to post photos (multiple photos with text between) with Tapatalk on my iPad. My problem is remembering how I did it the last time. I think I have CRS.
