SayBye
My 91 4.0 longbox threw and shredded the belt last night. No diagram under the hood. Any of these look familiar? It is an AC truck... these all look similar. Guessing this is what I need, each one just just a little different from the creators perspective... ParadiseMJ
Just remember, grooved pulleys get the inside (grooved) part of the belt, smooth pulleys get the back side of the belt.

swsws1
I don't think that diagram is acurate. The alt is above the AC and a small idler to the lower right of the alt.
HOrnbrod
That's what my belt routing book says for 87-89 2.5 w. air. maybe the 90 is different; I don't have that one. maybe someone else will chime in...

swsws1
My alternator is top left above the AC with a small idler to the lower right of the alternator
gogmorgo
Are you certain the a/c is factory? Pretty common as a dealer add-on. It's also not uncommon for an alternator to be relocated for better water fording ability.
fire797
you never need a diagram if u just follow what paradisemj said. it works for every car made!!!!!!
swsws1
True. But then the problem is belt length.
