This is the second one I've seen on ebay. The last one went cheaper than what this one is at now. I was going to bid on this one but I saw it was getting run up. Good luck to the winner.

over my head lol. my piece of history is the truck itself...

I took it to the limits with my 1981 yamaha srx 440 snowmobile though...but that one WILL see shows...I have every shred of literature and coins and even an original helmet and race-suit for it. The deal with that though is that that model of sled was so utterly fast and yet one of yamaha's biggest failures due to faulty crankshaft engineering...

So I get WHY you want it. I just don't apply the same thing to my mj.

Apparently I got mine before the rest of the world found out about them. :D

But on the subject of MJ paraphernalia, I just got my hands on this 2'x3' poster:

And no, those aren't pushpins holding it up. Those are pushpin-shaped magnets and I attached some small pieces of metal to the wall first. I thought I snapped a pic of the backside of the poster, but I can't find it. I'll get that up asap.

That's a nice poster Pete great find, I bought the Comanche clock and have it in my garage. I can't beleive the auction is over $60, the first time I saw that coin a few months back it didn't sell because the reserve wasn't met at $7.

LOL....Yea, I remenber that back in October or November. Another deal we all pasted up and now......(We need a" kicking one's self" Emoticon) this will do....... :wall:

Pete - Great looking poster. Was that a show room poster?? Any idea on the date? Nice find

So your the winner of this ;)

Congratulations

Good thing I was not home when the auction ended, other wise the price would have gone up :brows:

But I'm glad it went to a good home jamminz.gif

Enjoy it, that a nice piece of art.

alright i will admit i have never seen that or anything like it ever... so what exactly is it for and why did it sell for so much?

Well the one I got wasn't near as much as the one earlier in this thread. I got mine for $20. The story behind these coins is that they were given to the factory workers the day they released the Comanche, which is the date on the coin. These were never released to the general public for sale, so the only way to get one is if someone wants to part with it. They end up on ebay from time to time. The one I got was listed under the mis-spelled version of the MJ, "Commanche" which is why I think I was able to get it cheaper.

mfpdm - now you gave away the secret mis-spelled e-bay listings

O'well.......I just had a funny feeling that some one from here was bidding on it, so I let it slide, but yea, it was a Great find, and even better price on it

Oops, I thought everyone new about the mis-spelled versions like commanche, camanche, comanchee, oh crap did I do it again? :P

I had watched the club to see if anyone brought it up and decided at the last minute I would throw one bid in just to see if I would get lucky. :brows:

how much is this one worth?

Don't know but it looks interesting. What's on the other side?
