I just got my 88 mj last week. Picked her up for $3500 4.0L automatic. It's got shackles and spacers idk how much of a lift but she is making me pretty happy. I'm getting the valve cover powder coated and I'm about to buy some new pro comp mtz2s here pretty soon unless anyone has a better idea for tires

Nice MJ man. Really diggin the Blue! I have nothing bad to say about ProComp tires just pick the tread that will meet your needs the best. On my LJ I've got 65k on Xterrains, and I had about 50k on my MT's. both had/have heavy off road use an long road trips on them.

Thanks guys, Kolton thanks for the mileage info on the tires good to know!

So I changed the oil last night. Everything looked good and went to change the valve cover and noticed the two set of pcv holes are different so got come up with a route around that.... But here is the valve cover qupudydu.jpg

I looked at the first picture for a long time wondering what kind of super long arm lift was on there. I even thought for a brief second it had a body lift with a yellow frame but knew better. Finally realized it was the striping on the road..

Knew you would dig the pro comp X muds. For a very aggressive tread they are the quietest on the highway of any I have tried. I ran BFG muds for years and thought all agressive tread tires were loud and obnoxious on the highway untill I got these

And your truck looks good btw I really dig the blue.

I forgot to share that I did some work my rear main seal was leaking so to replace it I dropped the tranny and the oil pans and had to loosen all the mains to drop the crank down and slide the 1st half of the seal up the the second half I just used a little bit of silicone where the two seals would meet and I bolted it back up

While I had the pan of I went ahead and painted it black ypyheqav.jpg

Sorry don't have a picture of it complete...

Got the tranny back in and bolted everything back up also did a tranny pan filter so I had it out of the way my fluid was red like brand new red so I think the PO just did it. Oh we'll and I changed my exhaust doughnut but when I had the tranny out I found my leak..... My exhaust manifold is cracked

So if anyone knows off a good header let me know cause I'll be changing it soon
