This is my 1989 MJ, 2wd, 4.0L not sure if the picture will work lol. Anyways I'm starting my build this week with my 3" lift kit in the mail, along with some Mickey Thompson Classic 3 black wheels, and wrapping them in 31" BFG AT's. I've always wanted to lift her since the day I inherited her so we will see how it goes! Ill type up the back story and everything I've done leading up to this week at a later time. She's basically all original except the paint, smoked tailights and HiD headlights.

Installed the front end of the lift, tried to break the u bolt nuts loose but couldn't get the to budge in the back even after PB blaster and freeze off, going to give it another shot tomarrow. Anyways the front end looks pretty good i can't wait to mount the new rims and tires. Only question/ concern I have is are the sway bar links supposed to be so close to the springs? (Pic attached). . .

You need longer end links over stock when you do a lift. The stock 92 MJ/XJ and up links are about an inch longer, and the MOOG K80035 end links as used on the rear sway bar of some Ford F350s are yet another inch longer. This is a pic of the Ford F350 links:

They are 15's. the rides defiantly alot stiffer but all in all i love the way she turned out. took this pic after I washed her today in the little window of sunshine we had here lol. But the back almost looks sea through with the woods reflection on the rear.
