Dedaw
Went wheeling Saturday at a huge bonfire out in the woods. Long story short, ex-girlfriend wanted me to take her up there to see her friends (yes, EX girlfriend :laughin:). Decided to go wheeling since everybody else was cruising through the trails. She smacked her head twice, once she was unbuckled and I thought she was buckled up- hit the brakes hard trying to avoid the hidden fence post (that I still bumped) and she slid forward and bumped the windshield (okay, I was laughing at that one). Later on, we were still cruising and I didn't see a hole and flew right through and hit pretty hard. She had the shoulder harness behind her so it didn't lock and she bounced up and smacked her head on the roof. Ended up in the ER with a concussion- she didn't remember wheeling, smacking her head, or why I was even with her. So just a reminder to pay close attention to what you're doing and what your passengers are doing. And now for the carnage. No rolls, or anything terrible like that. But, I no longer have a straight body, and that's depressing. That's what you get for going down a hill that you're supposed to go up. Had I gone up, I would've been able to drive on the other wall and been fine. By the time I realized I shouldn't go down, I probably wouldn't have been able to back out. So I went down on 3 wheels around the corner with my bed pressed into the wall the whole way. And that's what you get for trying to go through a deep rivet with a stock longbed on 31s. :rotfl2: Otherwise, my truck did good and I was rather impressed. Made it through a lot of stuff in 2WD, and had no problems with anything when I dropped it into 4.
87Warrior
Glad nobody was injured! Now, here are my thoughts: 1. Avoid the EX at all costs. They are just trouble. 2. Slow down when you can't see. 3. Buy some auxiliary lights if you usually wheel in the dark. 4. If you could make it in 2wd, it wasn't wheeling ;)
Dedaw
1. I'm trying, I'm trying. Hard to turn down amazing sex. :laughin: 2. I could, for the most part. The lighting was just right to hide the bump til we hit it. 3. Guess what my next purchase is gonna be. lol Forgot to add that into the OP 4. I made SOME of it in 2WD, and was TRYING to take it easy and not beat up my DD. Oooops

SW86
hell ex's really just become friends with benefits (depending on how it ended). its once they start adding other guys to their "fwb cycle" or start "talking to someone" is when you have to step out on that one. so i say do what you do for that awesome (work free) sex while it lasts :rotfl2:

Darren
I'm guessing you're about 16. You're responsible for the safety of all occupants in your vehicle. Keep that in mind next time.

But she still tries to bring the drama with her, so I'm edging out as peacefully as I can. SEX? Wracking the memory trying remember what they're talking about. :hmm: Sex? What's that? I'm guessing you're about 16. You're responsible for the safety of all occupants in your vehicle. Keep that in mind next time. I'm 19. And I'm very aware that I'm responsible for the safety of everyone. Hence, why I told her to sit in the seat with the shoulder harness instead of the lap belt. I didn't figure she'd be dumb enough to not use the shoulder part... it was dark and I couldn't tell. Yes, I was in all ways responsible and feel like $#!& that it happened. EDIT: SEX? Wracking the memory trying remember what they're talking about. :hmm: It's kinda like the feeling you get when you remove a transmission crossmember without snapping any of the bolts. SEX?
