comanche1989 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 http://norfolk.craigslist.org/pts/3764196064.html I'm just wondering if the front coils and shocks will fit/ lift my 89 2wd comanche? Thanks, Sam
comanche1989 Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 Hmm 125 bucks for a two inch front rubi lift isnt too bad.... thanks for the reply
ComancheKid45 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 The shocks you can use but the springs will not work on an MJ afaik...
Pete M Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I think our springs lift wranglers. meaning their springs would drop our rigs. I think. :hmm:
Bounty Hunter Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 They're JK, not TJ, I wouldn't touch them in hopes they fit.
Pete M Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 good catch. guess I shoulda clicked on the link. in that case, nix my comment since I haven't a clue what JK coils will do. :hmm:
comanche1989 Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 They are unlimited rubi coils so the long wheelbase wrangler would require a stiffer spring... I think. And the Rubicon had a 2 inch lift from factory, right? It would be a gamble. Thanks for the replies, Sam
zackcj7 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 TJ Rubicons did not have lifted springs from the factory. They just had extended bump stops.
Garvin Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 TJ/LJ springs lower an XJ/MJ 2" if anyone was wondering. I have no clue on the JK springs but the 2dr JK's have softer springs in the rear than the 4dr JK's.
92tanMJ Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Hey Sam just get 'em YOLO! hahaha But I do know you can use the shocks.

Do you even know if JK coils will fit in an MJ? We all know front TJ coils fit, but that post is for JK coils.
