so I've updated firefox and now a whole slew of things don't work. no smilies at CC and drop-down menus don't work all over the web. I've updated adobe flash, updated my plug-ins, and re-initializing the plugins database. mostly just shots in the dark since I dn't know what's wrong. any ideas?

especially if you have a droid device (cell phone of tablet) with a gmail account. My tablet, phone, and computer are all linked together through chrome (and my google account) and it is sweet.

java is enabled. this is frustrating. there is nothing above the text box here on CC. I can't load pictures or anything.

Doubt if it has anything to do with your problem but just to add to the confusion. Sometimes when I log on to CC or change forums the top 1/3 of my screen is black, with the lower 2/3 showing normal.

I just upgraded to version 20; all I lost was the spell checker. I had to reload the US English dictionary and all is working fine. What version are you on Pete?

fixed it.  I run a script blocker and somehow one of the scripts went from allowed to banned.  no idea how the update could have done that but whatever.  I'm back in business. :D  time to upload more pics of my nephew and his Jeep.  . :MJ 1: .

What blocker do you use?

never had an issue.  plus they do two different jobs on my computer.  with adblocker I can zap individual frames in a website.   noscript blocks redirects and other nasties.

Adblock plus is my bro! That thing is awesome!!! I've noticed it even 'blocks' the ads in pandora and they don't pop up and play!
